Madonna’s NYC Stalker I’m “Crazy For You’


Alleged Stalker Robert Linhart

Robert Linhart a retired New York firefighter was charged today in Manhattan Supreme Court for stalking music superstar Madonna over a four day period outside her Upper Westside apartment and said he “won’t stop until he meets her.” Linhart was also charged with resisting arrest, weapons charges, he was carrying two knives and writing graffiti on the walls adjacent to her building. The police also found an ice pick in his car.

Linhart stated at his arrest:

“I can be here. This is police brutality. I have a right to do this. I am not doing anything wrong,” he told cops, according to court papers.

“I keep running into Madonna.” he added. “I saw her in 1992 and I’d actually like to meet her in person. I won’t stop until I actually meet Madonna.”

Linhart even said arresting him won’t stop him from returning.

“I’m going to go right back there [Madonna’s apartment] and do it again,” he said, according to court papers.

“Madonna, I need you,” said a sign strapped to the top of Linhart’s SUV. “Tell me yes or no, ” another sign said. “If it’s yes, my dream will come true. If it’s no, I will go. XXX.”

Articles and tour guides in the suspects car indicated that he had traveled to Prague to see the singer and possibly Paris. Linhart retired from the NYFD 1998 and lives in Huletts Landing, NY, a rural town on Lake George.
