Lindsay Lohan’s Friend Distracts Saleswoman As Lindsay Puts On Necklace Surveillance Video Shows

Lindsay Lohan Arrives For Court February 23, 2011

Lindsay Lohan might not want to be so quick in rejecting the plea bargain offered in court yesterday over the alleged thief of a $2500 necklace in a Venice Beach Jewelry Store in January.

In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline, a “law enforcement source” explained that a boutique surveillance video shows  a male friend of Lohan’s allegedly “distracted the clerk on purpose” while Lohan put on the necklace in question.

“The video then shows Lindsay and her male friend walking out of the store, all while Lindsay was wearing the necklace,” the law enforcement source stated.

The salesperson at Kamofie & Company Jewelry in Venice Beach said she was unaware that Lohan had not removed the necklace before leaving the store and later reported it stolen.

“The video then shows Lindsay and her male friend walking out of the store, all while Lindsay was wearing the necklace,” the source stated.

Lindsay’ was tipped off by the media that her home was going to be searched for the missing necklace so she subsequently had an assistant return the necklace to a LAPD station.

On February 8, Lohan pleaded not guilty to felony grand theft, her next court appearance is on March 10th.
