Lawmakers in Spain Have Endorsed Flaming Bull Horns Festival

Lawmakers in Catalonia, Spain have given the green light for the horns of bulls to be attached with short sticks of flaming wax or fireworks, then letting them charge people. In Catalonia unfortunately for the bulls this practice is part of a tradition called a Flaming Bull Festival which has naturally angered animal rights activist.

“Two months ago we were all happy because we stopped bullfights, because to kill and torture an animal shouldn’t constitute any kind of show or public display. And now, two months later, these same politicians – especially right and left wing nationalists – say that ‘correbous’ are not a way of torturing animals.”
The vote will only affect the Catalonia region of northeast Spain.
